Pizzzzzzzzzzzzza

What a great day it was today. Me and Juli enjoyed a pizza together tonight for dinner. It was a large and between the two of us, we ate the entire thing... I'm not even joking. It was sooooooooooo good. I thought maybe I would try Steve's strategy of eat whatever you want and still lose three pounds. I guess Sunday will be the judge. It is weird, there is some guilt that came along with eating that much pizza, but I LOVED IT. I think I forgot to mention what was on the pizza.... It was loaded with mushrooms, pineapple, tons of spinach, red peppers and onions. The crust was very thin and made with 50% ground wheat, and then sprinkled with some cheese. So actually I don't feel one bit guilty. I love eating yummy food.

Just a side note I was doing some research the other day and they talked about drinking your 64 oz of water per day. They said in doing just that, your body will burn an extra 500 calories in just drinking per week. Food for thought. Happy being healthy everyone. Later

  1. Oh ya, well I've been craving a big bowl of cookie dough! Let me know how to make THAT healthy and not feel guilty for doing it. Yah, I can't think of a way either!

  2. I think Steve's splurging was my fault. He was just craving Apollo Burger so bad so I told him to go get it. I think we should give in to our cravings once in a while or we'll just be so emotional and make ourselves crazy. Remember the Ding Dong! Give in to it every once in a while and you shouldn't feel guilty. That pizza sounds soooooo yummy.

  3. You kiddies are crazy talkers - it doesn't make a difference what the "calories" look like (pizza, cookie dough, juicy burger, etc.), go ahead and eat 'em! You have revved-up your fat-thermostat, and it will ultimately take care of any excess calories as long as you don't continue on the binge path indefinitely. I'm satisfied with my 0.2 to 2 pounds loss each week rather than the upward weight spiral I enjoyed, but I won't change my habits so much that I can't maintain my "new life" after April 3rd! Even if I gain a pound or two, it won't be as hard to correct as 20+ pounds of extra baggage. Go have a Ding Dong with Robyn!
